On Monday, the Sikeston Metropolis Council authorized turning two tennis courts at the Sikeston Recreation Advanced into six pickleball courts.
Pickleball is a activity that combines the features of tennis, badminton and ping pong and has been getting curiosity in the community in modern several years.

I speak to a large amount of people today and I think we have the opportunity to do tournaments if we experienced six pickleball courts, Turnbow reported. Theres a ton of towns bringing in income by having these tournaments. Of program, ours would be outdoors so we would be dependent on the weather conditions but its definitely sizzling ideal now.
Currently the only location to perform in Sikeston, beside the one outside courtroom at the Complex, is at the YMCA, which has inside of courts.
