Sacramento Kings pick up first win as Warriors lose to Hornets

Sacramento Kings finally pulled off their first win of the NBA season as they defeated the Miami Heat 119-113 after four defeats to start the season. Kevin Huerter led the scoring for the Kings with 27 points and rookie Keegan Murray scored 22 points. Tyler Herro scored 34 points for Miami Heat in the game.

Champions Golden State Warriors lost for a third time this season as they fell short against the Charlotte Hornets. The Hornets claimed a 120-113 OT win to pick up their third win of the season. PJ Washington led the scoring for the Hornets with 31 points and Gordon Hayward scored 23 points. For the Warriors, Steph Curry scored 31 points and 11 rebounds in the game.

Milwaukee Bucks claimed a 123-115 win over the Atlanta Hawks to win their fifth game of the season and maintain a perfect record in the NBA this season. Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 34 points and 17 rebounds, and Jrue Holiday contributed 34 points and 12 assists for the Bucks. Trae Young scored 42 points for the Hawks in their defeat.

Indiana Pacers defeated the Brooklyn Nets 125-116 to condemn the Nets to a fifth defeat in six games this season. Pacers rookie Bennedict Mathurin led the scoring with 32 points and Tyrese Haliburton scored 26 points. Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant scored 35 and 26 points, respectively, for the Nets.

Philadelphia 76ers picked up their third win of the NBA season with a 114-109 win over the Chicago Bulls. Joel Embiid led the scoring for the Sixers with 25 points and James Harden scored 15 points and 11 assists. DeMar DeRozan scored 24 points while Nikola Vucevic recorded 23 points and 19 rebounds for the Bulls.

Utah Jazz edged the Memphis Grizzlies 124-123 to claim their fifth win of the season in seven games. Lauri Markkanen and Kelly Olynyk scored 23 points apiece for the Jazz. Desmond Bane led the scoring for the Grizzlies with 32 points.

Oklahoma City Thunder claimed a 117-111 OT win over the Dallas Mavericks for their third win of the season. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the scoring for OKC with 38 points while Luka Doncic scored a triple-double of 31 points, 16 rebounds and ten assists for the Mavericks.
